Milestones in our history

2025

We celebrated 20 years of pioneering the new, test-based standard in personal health that has transformed us into a global leader in the space. To strengthen our presence on the North American continent, we acquired all assets of the U.S. health and wellness company Zurvita. We also made gut health a key area to expand our holistic core offer with targeted supplements.

2024

We acquired assets from the Luxembourg-based nutrition company Xelliss and the Cypriot olive oil producer, Cleanthi. Our holistic approach to overall health and wellness was further solidified with the launch of Collagen Boozt, advanced skin nutrition. Our customer base now spans more than 100 markets across five continents.

2023

Our product and health test portfolio continued to grow, setting a new standard for personal health. We reached a historic milestone with one million blood tests performed, strengthening our mission to empower people with concrete health insights. Our independently managed database of dried blood spot samples is now the largest in the world, forming the foundation of our test-based nutrition strategy.

2022

Our global expansion continued, with new products added to our test-based nutrition portfolio, setting us on the path to reaching one million customers by 2025.

2021

We launched our global webshop and entered new markets in Asia, expanding our reach to 99 markets worldwide. We also achieved a major milestone with a turnover of SEK 1.3 billion.

2020

We continued growing our global presence, celebrating 15 years of exceptional sales growth. Zinzino was well on its way to becoming a world-leading direct sales company in personalized nutrition and preventative health.

2018 - 19

These years marked a period of new market launches, faster deliveries, and a global webshop. Zinzino opened a new warehouse in Central Europe and expanded sales globally.

2016

We reached 100,000 returning customers, with Partners worldwide building their businesses with exclusive rights to promote our scientifically proven, test-based nutrition, validated by objective blood spot testing.

2015

The product portfolio continued to expand, now including coffee, nutritional supplements, skincare, and wellness products. Zinzino began expanding heavily across Europe and opened offices in Riga and Florida.

2014

Zinzino completed its transition into a full-fledged nutrition company with a strategic investment in Faun Pharma, an independent Norwegian contract manufacturer of nutritional supplements. December marked another milestone as Zinzino was approved for listing on Nasdaq First North, ringing the famous bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

2012

Hilde and Ørjan entered the health and wellness movement by partnering with BioActive Foods, a Norwegian research and development company addressing Omega-3 deficiency with a proprietary, synergistic formula. BalanceOil was born, elevating Omega supplements to a new standard, while the BalanceTest provided indisputable, third-party proof that the product met real, documented needs.

2005

Ørjan and Hilde launched their business as the exclusive Northern European sales agents for the Belgian/French coffee house Rombouts. Norway and Sweden were the first countries to open for sales, with the rest of Scandinavia soon following.

Empowering people with the tools to change lives - The Norwegian entrepreneurs Hilde and Ørjan Sæle built their family business near Oslo determined to make better health a personal journey based on informed decisions. Their unwavering commitment to taking the guesswork out of the equation has positioned Zinzino at the forefront of test-based, personalized nutrition, driving the new standard in personal health.

We want to lead by example. Together with the Glocal Aid charity, the Zinzino Foundation is dedicated to creating a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged children by offering full scholarships.
