Gut Health

Is there enough fiber in your diet?

Gut Health

Is there enough fiber in your diet?

90% of us are not meeting the WHO’s recommendation of 25-35 grams/day.

Listen to your gut

The gut is the center of your body’s universe, constantly talking to your brain. The more nourished it is, the better you feel. The 100 trillion bacteria in your gut biome shape your body’s functions. If they are in balance, so are the rest of your organs.

Feed the good bacteria, they love prebiotic fibers.

Frequently asked questions

ZinoBiotic+ works by selectively feeding the good bacteria in your gut, helping to rebalance your gut microbiota. Other fiber products on the market generally contain only one or two types of dietary fibers, a strategy which is not enough for your daily need of fibers. ZinoBiotic+ contains significant amounts of eight dietary fibers. This approach ensures benefits for the whole colon. Resistant starch, inulin, beta glucans from oats, fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and psyllium husk are fermented in the colon and promote several bowel functions, for example, the resistant starch will contribute to the reduction of the otherwise normal rise of blood sugar after meals.

Yes, you can. Start with half a scoop daily and increase to 1 scoop once you see that your child tolerates it. Make sure that the child drinks plenty of water and be mindful of constipation.
As children age, their fiber intake can be increased, and when they reach their teens the recommended dosage is the same as for adults.

FOS (fructooligosaccharides) is a type of dietary fiber that consists of relatively short chains of glucose and fructose. We use FOS from chicory root in ZinoBiotic+. When it comes to intolerance, it is impossible to offer a yes or no answer as everyone reacts differently. We suggest trying a small dose to begin with. If there is no reaction, increase the dosage towards the recommended dose of 1-2 scoops per day.

There is no definite yes or no answer to this. The ingredients in ZinoBiotic are all highly purified, and the carb fractions do not contain significant (or measurable) amounts of banana proteins; but people with really intense allergies to bananas, can react to levels of an allergen that even sensitive analytical systems cannot. We suggest trying a small dose to begin with. If there’s no reaction, increase the dose towards the recommended dose of 1-2 scoops per day.

ZinoBiotic+ works very well for diabetics. GI = Glycemic Index is so low, it is almost equal to zero.

Yes. ZinoBiotic+ contains selected beta glucans from oats that are free from gluten and contamination from other grains. ZinoBiotic+ contains a resistant starch blend including corn with Omega-6.

Omega 6 from nutritionally rich sources is nothing to worry about and the amount in ZinoBiotic+ is very small. It is important to remember that Omega-6 is an essential fatty acid that our body needs to function properly.

Heat treatment can lead to a slight change in the fiber structure, but it is possible to use Zinobiotic in hot oatmeal. We do suggest that you don’t boil it together with the oats, but rather stir in a scoop of ZinoBiotic+ when the oatmeal is done. porridge.

We recommend that you try a smaller dose of ZinoBiotic+ for 1-2 weeks. If there’s no reaction increase the dose to 1-2 scoops per day. Also, Collagen Boozt is milder on the stomach than a full prebiotic formulation and might be a suitable alternative. The liquid collagen supplement contains 2.2 grams of prebiotic fiber mainly inulin from chicory root, and postbiotics (Plenibiotic™️) from lactic acid bacteria. Starting with Collagen Boozt may offer a gentler approach to experience gut and skin benefits without overwhelming the digestive system. However, if you are particularly sensitive to the fiber inulin, Collagen Boozt might not be a better option as it contains a little more inulin than Zinobiotic+.
